August 24th 2016, Rainbow Bar and Grill unveiled the life size statue of the late Lemmy Kilmister by artist Travis Moore. The day after Travis Moore had his exhibit opening at Art on Scene at 8521 W. Sunset Blvd. with Lemmy Kilmister: A Tribute to the Master by Travis Moore. The artist was responsible for overseeing the creation of the statue and live art at the event. Guests could also view the mini-Lemmy museum, check out some Lemmy artifacts and view and purchase Moore’s Lemmy-related artwork.

Rainbow Bar and Grill is located at the heart of West Hollywood, 9015 W. Sunset Blvd.
Los Angeles-based artist Travis Moore

Los Angeles-based artist Travis Moore was selected to create a realistic likeness of Lemmy for the life-size cast bronze statue, which stands at just over six feet tall and will be permanently housed in a special shrine that was constructed in the patio bar area at the Rainbow.
Travis is a native of Texas, and did his part for free, but there were considerable costs associated with the actual process that ultimately made the statute a reality. A funding campaign was launched by Katon De Pena from classic underground thrash-metal band Hirax, who raised about $23,000 to support the building of the statue.

Alongside his music career, he also had many minor roles in film and television. www.artonscene.com

Burke and his parents, John and Patsy Ramsey,  were all cleared by authorities of involvement in the unsolved mystery that began when the body of JonBenét, a child pageant queen, was discovered in the basement of the family's home the day after Christmas in 1996. She was strangled with a cord around her neck and duct tape over her mouth. There were two red marks in her face of a stun gun.

The parents also reported finding a ransom note demanding the curious total of $118,000 – the exact amount of a recent bonus received by John Ramsey.

Burke and his father are the family's sole surviving membersPatsy Ramsey, then 49, died of ovarian cancer in 2006, two years before then-Boulder District Attorney Mary Lacy stated officially that nothing tied the parents to the crime.
There have been many opinions over the years how to resolve JonBenet Ramsey Murder Mystery, and one of them came from Denver Post in 2001, while Patsy was still alive. The ex-house believed Patsy Ramsey killed JonBenet: http://rense.com/general11/benet.htm

Washdolly is a microfibre cloth made of two synthetic polymers: 75% polyester and 25% polyamide. Polyester likes to bind to fat, which is why the cloth works well to wipe away grease and dirt without using chemicals.  When water is applied to the cloth, it is stored between the pores of the fibre rather than binding directly to them. The result is a much faster drying fabric.
This sticky force attracts dirt and grease with millions of microfibres in this highly porous material with a large surface area that fits in the palm of your hand, removes your makeup with ease while cleaning your face.

Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Mexican beer Estrella Jalisco will present the 17th annual Dia de los Muertos festival October 29th 2016:This year's theme:

THE TREE OF LIFE – EL ÁRBOL DE LA VIDA

"The Tree Of Life"
Each year, Hollywood Forever Cemetery celebrates the rich heritage of Mexican Art and Culture as it relates to Día de Los Muertos (Day Of The Dead). This year's theme is THE TREE OF LIFE, and is inspired by ‘El Árbol de la Vida’, the sculptural traditions of Metepec and their evolution to include elements and themes taken from Día de Los Muertos. The inspiration, El Árbol de la Vida also represents the celebration of the Universal Tree of Life, a common central spiritual idea to many cultures and world religions, as we embrace the fact that we are all branches and leaves of one great Tree of Life.
The sculpture for the tree was commissioned to the Soteno Family in Metepec. They were discovered by Diego Riviera and have over 100 years of craftsmanship and tradition. The tree took over 30 days to complete.

Luis Villanueva, Catherdral Art Exhibit curator
The historical roots of El Dia de Los Muertos celebration go back to the pre-Hispanic cultures of Meso-America of the indigenous people, especially the Nahua, and others native to Mexico more than 3000 years.
Indigenous people believed that the souls did not die, that they continued to live in Mictlan (Place of death) a special place for them to finally rest.
On the Day of the Dead, tradition holds that the dead return to earth to visit their living relatives. It is also believed that even if these relatives can’t see them, they can feel them.
It’s a way to come to terms with our mortality and become aware of the cycle of life and death.
The hosts of the MainStage will be TV and radio personalities Fernanda Kelly and Kevin Ramirez.

Over 40,000 guests attended This Year's Día de Los Muertos "The Three Of Life" last Saturday October 29th 2016.
Daytime crowd at Hollywood Forever "Day Of Dead 2016"

The event hosted 35 performances, 150 Aztec Dancers, 4 stages, an art exhibit , 100 decorated altars and an unforgettable performance by Latin Grammy Nominee Julieta  Venegas.
The 17th annual Day of the Dead event at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery set the stage for the historical return of the late singer Jenni Rivera who, via hologram, was able to perform once again for her fans and family.

Juan Rivera, Jenni's younger brother, took the stage to reveal the highly anticipated surprise.  Just like he did at every one of her concerts, Juan introduced his sister onstage while admitting he was feeling "very nervous" but excited that his sister would be the first regional Mexican singer and Latin artist to have a hologram.
Jenni became a star for albums like La Diva En Vivo and produced 15 gold, 15 platinum and 5 double-platinum records. She became later a reality-TV star, businesswoman and activist. Tragically, she died in a plane crash at age 43 on December 9, 2012.

Breakaway Matcha's founder Eric Gower explained that the company now offer cold-brew single power packed doses for clarity and hydration mixed in a water bottle.
It's a green tea from Japan, finely ground, that can be served hot or cold. It was originally served in formal ceremonies in Japan. The distinguishing features are:
No steeping. Matcha isn’t steeped, it’s “eaten.” You simply pour hot water over the powder, froth it (either with a special handheld bamboo whisk or an electric milk frother), and drink the thick tea.
It is full of naturally occurring antioxidants and amino acids; roughly 20 times those of regular green tea.The cold brew proportions are 8 ounces of very cold water to 1 gram ( half a teaspoon), and shake. To make 16 ounces of cold brew, use two grams (one teaspoon), and to make a quart, use 4g, or 2 teaspoons. 4 calories per serving and 25 mg of caffeine.

Landmark art of Dansaekhwa with Dansaekhwa III: Formation and Recurrence,
Multilayered monochromes of Kim Tae-Ho
curated by
SMFineArt Gallery in Seoul, South Korea and New York. Featuring the multilayered monochromes of Kim Tae-Ho and the iconic water drop paintings of Kim Tschang-Yeul, who has been painting this fluid life force for more than four decades, this survey includes some of the most iconic works from two of the genre’s minimalist masters.
Widely considered one of the most influential Korean art movements of the 20th century, Dansaekhwa (pronounced “dawn-say-qua”) is rooted in mesmerizing abstractions. Though the methods and mediums vary greatly across the monochromatic genre, works are typically rendered via pushing layers of white, black, blue, or earth-toned paints across soaked canvases or dragging pencils across (sometimes ripped) pieces of traditional hanji paper.

Water drop paintings of Kim Tschang-Yeul
In recognition of Los Angeles’s new position as an international hub for cutting-edge contemporary art across all mediums — from painting, sculpture and drawing to performance, video, and installation — the fair’s board of directors is placing a new focus on post-war modern and contemporary artwork. This year the LA Art Show will also launch ROOTS, an exclusive curated section of historical dealers from the old Los Angeles Fine Art Show, presenting exhibitions of 18th Century European, Contemporary Realism, California Plein Air and Hudson River School paintings.
Installation 2017 EUGENIA VARGAS: Talking Head Transmitters
“As Los Angeles takes its place at the vanguard of the global art scene, our ability to adapt and evolve to meet the art market’s current trends and provide strong civic support is vital,” said LA Art Show producer and partner Kim Martindale. “The evolving role of the art fair as a fulcrum for art commerce, connecting galleries, artists, curators and international and multi-generational collectors drives our program.”
"It is poised to reach its most diverse audience and an expanded luxury lifestyle driven clientele with new and returning corporate and media partners, including Stella Artois has long been a sponsor of global art initiatives from ArtPrize to Art Basel Miami Beach and LA Art Show 2017 is proud to welcome them as its official sponsor".
DOMA ART: Scherezade Garcia's "Im My Floating World"
At this year’s fair, Stella Artois will showcase the work of DOMA, one of the most active art collectives in South America for the last two decades. They will present an exclusive sculptural installation as a commentary on their Latin roots and the idealization of the “L.A. dream,” as well as participate in the fair’s fourth annual Dialogs LA panel series to discuss the work, share an overview of their engagement with the arts, and present a newly published career retrospective catalog.
For the third year in a row, The Agency will be the official sponsor of the VIP Lounge at the LA Art Show 2017. The Agency will also present two Dialogs LA panels addressing home curation, home as art and how social media influences the decisions collectors today make about collecting for private and public spaces. Paul Lester, Partner and a Founder of the Los Angeles luxury real estate firm who designed the 2016 lounge, said, “At The Agency we live and work in the world of art in the considered selection of homes we bring to market. We are curators of the fine art of living. Our sponsorship of LA Art Show 2017 is in keeping with our commitment to contemporary art and design.”
Belgium beer Stella Artois
“Our corporate partners, especially Stella Artois and The Agency, have earned well deserved recognition for their commitment to sponsoring arts programming and events around the world,” said Kim Martindale, general manager and producer of the LA Art Show. “We are delighted that they are bringing international art projects and new collectors to our community.”

Take your place beside oracles, snake charmers, contortionists, and fire eaters to witness and behold the haunted mystery of Clifton’s Lucent Enchantment Society.

LUCENT DOSSIER EXPERIENCE, the world-renowned, innovative performance collective that embellishes original music with powerful dancers, aerial artists and fire shows had their last performance of the year,December 29th at Clifton’s historic multi-level restaurant and bar(www.cliftonsla.com) downtown Los Angeles.
The scenery was set in 1930’s and 40’s Los Angeles but with a romantic spin.

Earlier this year, LUCENT DOSSIER EXPERIENCE debuted a new 3D Live, augmented reality performance to a massive Coachella crowd with closing sets at the Sahara Tent on both Friday’s (April 15 & 22) of the two-weekend-long event. LUCENT DOSSIER EXPERIENCE continued with their "Lightning in a Bottle" extravaganza, which is a combination of new performances and original ones, and only seen at this year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. They returned it to the original 2D format.  The collective also brought their festival show to Hollywood’s Avalon nightclub.

“The Lucent Dossier Experience is unlike any other night of entertainment. It is very much theatre, but also part concert, acrobats, circus, dance performance, and opera. It’s a blend of all these things, but a truly unique experience. The music is hot, the costumes are elaborate, and the energy is electric,”
LUCENT DOSSIER EXPERIENCE celebrated its 11-year anniversary of Coachella Music & Arts Festival earlier this year. The Los Angeles-based group premiered never-before-seen technology which transported festival-goers through an other-worldly vortex of curiosity.
